Prep Work

 Includes: -Solvent cleaning to remove grease and oil -Muriatic acid strip to remove old plating -Ballotini glass bead blasting to remove all residual grime/plating leaving the finished bare steel product with a satin finish before plating process.

Zinc Plating-Standard Shine

The Standard Shine service is what the builder would choose if aiming for concours restoration quality. Standard Shine is the same look and finish that came from the factory in the 30's-70's cars. These vehicles hardware/parts were plated in Cadmium and have a more Satin finish. Standard Shine is available in clear (silver) and gold. Also known as copy-cad.

The Flawless Shine service is what the builder would choose if they are going for a very shiny, near chrome finish for their hardware. This finish really pops and is sure to draw attention wherever the hardware resides. This service caters more to the JDM world of Honda, Nissan, and Toyota builds but is available for any builder who requests it. Flawless Shine consists of polishing every piece by hand before plating to achieve the extra shine. This service is an additional charge and falls under the same pricing as the prep work charging.
